About

A long-running, honest little directory.

Get Paid 4 Surf started in the early days of the "get paid for surf" wave back in 1999. The site itself went live in January 2000, riding the dot-com boom — and surviving the bust that followed.

For years the site tracked the programs that paid you to surf the web. Most of those programs came and went. The ones that stuck around are the ones that actually pay out, slowly, for the things you already do online.

Today the site is simplified and winding down. I'm not chasing the latest thing anymore — I'm keeping a short, honest list of what still works, and pointing to one current favorite: SwagBucks.

More to come
I'll be filling this page out with more of the site's history and details soon. For now, the home page lists my current favorite and the status of the directory.
